RSPB Crowdsourcing Hedgehog Spottings While Paddy Power Hails Pope Spottings!

23/9/2010 | crowdsourcing | philipletts | 1 Comment

The BBC has just reported that the UK’s RSPB has Crowdsourced 90,000 volunteers to report on Hedgehog spottings in the UK. It reveals that 25% of UK gardens get hedgehogs dropping by on a monthly basis. Those little critters!

And as if that wasn’t enough last week cheeky bookmakers, Paddy Power, launched a Crowdsourced Pope spotting campaign called Popewatch. And they got some wild sightings.

They seem to be a little more generous than the RSPB ‘cos Pope spotters can win an iPad if they email a photo or video snap of the Pope to popewatch@yahoo.co.uk. The draw is on Monday – so shoot them in quick! Couple of wild ones below!

You'd be hard pressed to spot one of those types of hedgehogs in any garden in the UK.
