I am agree some with Julian, I still think a little teeny boppie. I was trying to figure out why I perceived this. Well, I think maybe the playfulness of the letters and also the inflated letters, kinda bubbly. I also think some how, kinda robotic logo looking, My original thoughts- I still think there should be a jazzy or soulful flow.
Just my thoughts, I think this logo is clean and very strong, I am just not connecting it to her image.. Just my perception…I my be way off, and the singer might be the bubbly type who loves this direction.

black one definately – to go with the sultry sexy voice! white is more squeaky clean pop band.

not sure about the upside down “i” its a bit overdone…used to look good because it was a different spin on things but now its just a bit samey. keep it classic and simple. also, totally agree with the font comments. it doesnt suit your personality. need something feminine, jazzy and a bit more quirky. take the quirk out the 'i' and put it into the font.

its a good start but at first glance i think – “RnB singer. and well youre not!

Ok...

I like the black one more than the white one. I think the ‘R’ droops a little and looks a bit funny.

Love the white shadowing behind the text, and the font in general.

I know it’s trying to be quirky but when I see that exclamation mark, I think of things like 5ive or Hear ‘Say – might appeal but to me seems a bit gimmicky.

Sorry Rab Dog I know it’s mixed messages but I suppose the final statement I will give is...

I like it but it could be better. How better I’m not sure – that is what those design boffins are there for I suppose.

I think it lacks a bit of meat i dont think if you saw this on a bill board that it would stand out and make you think Who is Rabia?

Also not a huge fan of the mix of Upper and lower case, having said that i do like the glow very effective and simple.

Hi,

Rabia has requested some feedback on the branding so here it is. I like the branding and font – it's very dramatic but I wonder whether you need both the black and the white. Does it confuse it? I think I see that you are trying to show two sides to Rabia but I am a big fan of keeping it simple. I would just choose either the black or the white. Hope the feedback helps

Umm… I really want to see a logo that Shouts at you, shouting the things that define you… Sexy, Classy, WOW, Sophistication…

Given that this is a personal brand, I don't think it needs to be, or can be too complex but it does need to stand out, and do so with class… I had a look at other singers logos, and most are simple text… but all looked very Polishes and precise.

I know that this is really just a 1st draft, but I think it needs to be a lot more wow and stronger… I'm sure that the finished article will be brought out of the page a lot more, but I think we need to go back and hit the 'Sexy, Classy, WOW, Sophistication' then bring the logo on to that polished state.

The initial caveat is that I know nothing about logos from a proper corporate branding perspective and so have no idea the thinking that went into this.

From a consumer perspective, though, my gut feeling (as I said to Rod while you were on the phone) is that it’s just not quite eye-catching enough for a professionally produced image.

If you were getting this for free and someone was knocking that together as a favour, it would be a solid effort. When you’re getting it done properly, though, it just feels like you can get it done properly.

What that looks like, I’m not sure, but my gut feeling is that it doesn’t look like this.

I love the simplicity of it.
Negative:
Saxon thinks it’s very street and too gangster like. “why is the i upside down”
I think it’s not clear enough, it’s isn’t shouting out what it says, you have to concentrate too hard to read the name. I think if it was more obvious/clearer what the word says then it would be great.

‘I think she should have “i” in rabia not upside down and instead of using gray/whit colour she should use yellow/gold and maybe even some brown instead of black. This is because these colours are more kind of colours of soulJ and it would be so nice for her skin as she is goldish’

Hey girl….I hope all is well. I am glad to see things moving along. In regards to the logo I would only suggest that the “all black” logo is a bit too dark. Dark in a sense that it reminds me of the “Metallica Black album” and heavy metal you are not. J Just my 2 cents for what it is worth.
I do like the font, but you should ask them if they could at some more life to it.

It looks quite cool, however as my compatriot Mr Gogo Roberts said it looks like a business card.

I think the logos quite generic and isn’t that original.

Seeing that on the front of an Album cover wouldn’t make me pick it up.

Rabia has a very distinctive voice and needs something which looks a bit jazzier and original

I really like the shadow effect on the letters and the overall presentation. I also like the fact that the there isn't any shapes in the 'a' & 'b', it puts more focus on the shadowing and the overall name rather than putting it on specific letters. Although the 'r', to me, is standing out for some reason, maybe a Uppercase 'r' could work although that would throw off the pattern of the uppercase 'b' surrounded by the lowercase letters. The upside down 'i' is perfect and throws that eye catcher that you need. To me it does exactly what a logo should do. Logo's are meant to be recognizable by the image not necessarily by reading it. Think of big logos like McDonald's arches, Apple's apple, & Microsoft's windows image. You know who they are when you see it. To me this does Rabia well.

I like the fact that it's branded after Rabia but I'm not sure that it does justice to her style and the genre of music she sings. She and the band need something that's unique – I don't think that this logo sets her apart enough (honest opinion! ).

i'm stuck on that style per se. I see you with even more character and femininity that what that “brand” portrays. I'd like to see something with more style and character to bring out Rabia. It's nice but I don't think it fits her completely.

So Rabia asked for me to provide my feedback on the logo, and to be completely honest I think it's somewhat plain, and there's nothing plain about her! I understand the colour scheme used–black and white–to evoke classic/classy but I don't like the boldness, it seems too square.

This logo is too corporate for Rabia, She has alot more character and if the font is to reflect her style it needs to bend and curl ……. I also thought A cartoon character based on Jessica rabbit is a good idea …….. I didnt think the logo stood out in either colour its all very square and understated , the i upside is trying to be quirky and i find it looks forced and not natural like Rabia herself is ……

Hey guys,

I think there's a public outcry for holes or somekind of shape in the a's and b's and i share the same sentiment, get some shapes in there!

The white logo is fantastic, as it has a minimalist design which steps out from the white background and with this, you can transfer this onto any coloured background with ease depending on the event, mood, image... etc.

The black one looks more like the back of a business card

very nice i like it. its got a lot of style but not over the top. i like the upside down i too.

I do agree with the comment below that it might look better with holed out a's and b's
maybe not completely holed out but crescent moons or something.

i like the black one a lot.
